BASIC DESCRIPTION.

Syx had had enough of living a normal life in a magical realm, so in order to combat his innate need to gamble, he took a chance and developed a casino outside of space and time that conforms to no set of rules or regulations of any other universe, and has it's own laws of physics and reality.

After initial kick off, the casino became a big success, though the biggest issue about it was currency. There was no way for people to receive more money when out of it. What Syx decided to do next would change the image of the brand forever, as instead of accepting currencies from outside his premises, he instead took away sanity and souls for more currency, thusly trapping those who didn't find themselves on the lucky side of fate.
