This world-weary maverick dwells in the swampy basins on the floating islet. Expressive growths on his head surround his ears and may be used to sense minute changes in the chemical composition of the water.

The amphibious ranger keeps a garden of bog-flowers, bushes and trees. In spring he harvests the nectar from them and in the autumn he collects their fruits. Most are used to make various syrups and jams for his pancake-house (a small reststop in which travellers may purchase or trade for refreshments), which is located near one of the well throdden routes through the islet marshes.

When cornered he is slippery and swift, but he is unable to sustain such activity for long periods of time due to his build. Despite his stamina when swimming, he is quickly strained when exercising on land and relies mostly on his mottled-green leafy cape (to glide or hide) and a well planned ambush on a hunt or on patrol: After all, his herb garden attracts all kinds of creatures (mostly unwanted ones) all year...

Nicknamed Strat or Spot. Has many scars from wandering the wild reaches of Sorneith alone. In his hatchling years his parent's clan migrated to another elemental domain. This escorted journey was undertaken in small groups through the mire. During their travels, their family was ambushed and he would be left the only survivor. Maimed and hungry, this hatchling learned to survive with trial and error.

He developed into a hardy fighter, who is brusque, shy and sweet natured under a grumpy exterior. When gardening or preparing food, this dragon will shed his cape, don an apron and put on a pair of safety boots metal lined tailspat to protect himself from falling tools and crockery.
