Moonrunner is High Priestess Elderyth's closest friend and advisor. Wise and cunning, she leads with an insight that leaves all the more mischievous dragons wary of her. She oversees many of the clan's various divisions, keeping it running smoothly. Many defer to her opinion when unsure, and her word is questioned by only those who dare risk her knowing looks when she turns out to have been right all along. Familiar and job assignments often go through her for approval. Taught by the High Priestess herself, Moonrunner applies what she herself learned to teaching her disciple, Majesty.

Moonrunner came to the clan's grounds on a trip to observe local creatures. She stayed in the temple during her trip, and quickly fell in love with the land and way of life. A week turned into a month, which turned into a year. She even fell in love with a nocturne guard named Iriekain who was and is oh so charming. They've had many clutches, with most their hatchlings grown and gone, many already having left to serve the great Windsinger. She does her best to adapt and live with the grief the best she can, dedicating herself to her work and mate, and finding ways to make peace with the directions life takes.
