.. When Achenar left his home clan, it was purportedly to "see the world", but those who knew him knew better: what he really wanted was an audience far enough away from home that he could paint his mundane life experiences as something exceptional and receive attention for them.

For Achenar, age has brought wisdom, and experiences worth boasting about. Once a scout for the reclusive Clan Mirage, he now accompanies the Fire Flight diplomat Fletcher around Sornieth, providing wayfinding and support alongside his mates Spinel and Dulcet. He's changed tack from talking about himself to talking about others, absorbing information and stories like a sponge and unleashing them upon anyone who expresses the slightest bit of interest.

Achenar in his adolescence was downright unbearable - pretentious, self-important, and known to frequently embellish and exaggerate his own knowledge and ability. Age and experience have settled him down, though he still likes to butt into conversations with his stories and opinions, doesn't take being told he's wrong very well, and lapses into language as purple as his scales when given the opportunity.
