A really charming and outgoing dragon. Most dragons like him immediately upon meeting him, and he knows it. He uses his verve to his advantage; whether it's to sway people to his cause, or to try and achieve his ambitious goals.

Despite his seemingly natural charisma, Shirokumo wasn't hatched this way. Hatched into an overcluttered clan, he had to pull all the tricks a hatchling knows to get any attention. When he grew older, he learned to use his stunning looks to his advantage. Competition was fierce among siblings, and after he trusted a clutchmate as a close confident and had his secrets used against him, Shirokumo learned early on that all dragons have ulterior motives.

Eventually, the toxic behaviors of his clanmates became unbearable for Shirokumo. He left as soon as he could without a second glance back. He traveled for a while, staying with benevolent clans willing to house a stranger for a while. His jaded, fiercely distrusting nature melted a little the more he learned about how a healthy clan should act. He especially loves hatchlings, because they are not old enough to understand how to manipulate others or to formulate ulterior motives.

Despite almost every clan offering to be his permanent home, Shirokumo left each one of them. Partly because he wanted to see the world, partly because he felt that there was more for him to see before he settled down, and partly because he was afraid that the magic wouldn't last if he stayed.

Shirokumo plans to one day start a clan himself. He's not sure how it will happen, but he's spending his time learning how to be a good clan leader. Due to his competitive nature as a hatchling (which hasn't really faded over time), he can be very resistant to authority. This creates a lot of conflict with the clan leader wherever he goes, and Shirokumo is almost never willing to admit that it's usually him who goads and eggs the leader.

Although he enjoys being with other dragons, he's often torn between suspiciously analyzing them for hidden agendas or just reveling in the feeling of social interaction without trying to one up the other.
