Daughter and apprentice to Garod, Starsong's primary role is the Vulstalridge astronomer's fuzzy blue shadow. She is captivated by the cosmos and just as eager to illuminate its secrets alongside her father someday, so the little aether is studying hard as she can to help Garod out. After all, the stars were her first home-- why wouldn't she hold a special love for them, too?




Oh, right! About that. Starsong's egg appeared on the night that the Aether ships crash landed across the neighboring Starfall Isles. No one knows how she wound up careening toward the Snowsquall forests with the blazing might of a meteor, but Garod sure remembers the fantastic light show that took him by surprise while he was out stargazing with Dawnbringer. He hurried to untangle the egg from the frazzled pine branches as soon as he realized what it was-- and no sooner than he'd tumbled back down into the snow, rescue in arms, that the strange little egg hatched.

Garod loved her the moment he saw her; which was good news for the humming gremlin mouthing at the study notes tucked under his arm. The only one not surprised by any of this was Dawn, whose earlier readings of last moon's night sky had foretold some wild turn of events.
