*Please note that I access this website through two laptops (one main, one travel) as well as my android.
*Please note that I do have siblings! If either of them start playing FlightRising down the line, a disclaimer will be noted hereespecially since I'll likely be spoiling them with dragons and goodies as a big sister should~
*+2 hours ahead of FR time :)

Hi I'm here cause my friends told me there were dergs (and they were RIGHT.)
This lair exists for my own enjoyment! I collect dragons that make me happy or that I think I could make some fun lore with, so I normally don't exalt the ones I acquire unless I've had them for a while and struggled to click with them (if that was one of yours, I'm sorry :c ).
All art assets used in my dragons' bios double as image links, so please click on them and support the original artists if they catch your fancy! (Just be aware that some of them are from an Ice-only thread and may show up as a page error if you're not in the Ice Flight.)
Several clans exist in my lair. Learn more about them below!

Several clans exist in my lair. Learn more about them below!

Mountain Dwellers of the Snowsquall Tundra
Founded somewhat on accident by Garen and Nightblood, the dragons of Vulstalridge seek a simple life free from the typical strife and rivalries of Sornieth's peoples. They live high up in the mountainside overlooking the Snowsquall Tundra; a location that wisely maintains distance from rival clans while allowing for convenient dives to the forest below for hunting and gathering. Fate appears to have something else in mind for them, however, as strange faces with even stranger stories continue to find themselves entwined with the little clan of the mountains...
Their title comes from the mountain range Garen and Nightblood's lair is based in, which happens to be an area populated by Tourmaline Vulstals and other fox-like species.
Other members of the clan can be found in the hibernal tab,

The clan's more solitary neighbors reside in the

Servants of the Frosted Gales
Established high in the Cloudscrape Crags, at the edge of Reclaimer's Glacier, is a deeply devout sect of worshippers who call themselves the Hallowed Wings. Most of their hatchlings are trained for the day that they will ultimately be exalted to fight at the Icewarden's side. The rest are raised to protect the clan's borders, bear hatchlings of their own when the time comes, and keep ranks filled as older dragons grow ready to retire or be exalted themselves.
This clan is canonically much larger than the featured pairs in its tab; I've only made characters out of the most important positions for simplicity's sake and to keep my lair's food pantry from disappearing into the void <3. I use the power of imagination to pretend that there are hundreds of devout ice-worshiping dragons around them! Heartwarming!
These are also the same cultists whom Eridani-- Vulstalridge's priestess-- eventually left behind. Good for her~
The Hallowed Wings

The Children of a Lonely God
GROW WISE, GROW STRONG. FIND ONE ANOTHER, UNITE AS ONE-- AND SOMEDAY, WHEN YOU ARE READY, FIND THE VANISHED GOD. RETURN HIM TO HIS PEOPLE, AND SHOW MY BRETHREN THE FORGOTTEN POWER OF HARMONY.

Born of wistful fondness, lingering grief, and unexpected second chances, the dragons who make up this odd band were bestowed an impossible task by the one who helped birth them: to find a lost god, and restore true harmony back to the lands of Sornieth through his recovery.
For now, they keep the circumstances of their existence-- and the purpose they have been given-- mostly to themselves, save for highly trusted friends and family. After all, it has been many years since Dragonhome's Pillar fell to ruin. Much has changed-- too much-- and the cause they fight for might bring about more enemies than friends...

We've Got Vigilante Pirates Now
While most obelisks chose to carry out the Earthshaker's decree by joining other clans, Sunsath was struck with other ideas. If they'd been created to save all of Sornieth, then what better way to access all its corners than to take to the ever-versatile seas?
Along with his first mate Semolsea, he has since acquired a ship and (somewhat on accident) a crew along with it. Together they intend to see the world, run into danger for the heck of it, and protect Sornieth when that day finally arrives!

Pokemon Amie: The Lair Tab
Nestled between Reedcleft Ascent and Singer's Brook is the Misfit Menagerie-- a familiar sanctuary run by Vaiduoklis and his beloved partner, Diana. Together, they give mistreated pets a second chance at life as well as help newly tamed creatures adjust to being around dragons.
Gamewise, I primarily use this pair to bond with familiars that fall under Fiona's Feats (gotta get those rewards!) The menagerie is very "rescue-shelter-for-critters" in its vibe, so only animal-like familiars are used under this tab.

Star Trek, But Fluffier!
Greetings, modern day earthlings! Meet the crew of the Eeby Deeby Enterprise, a Doppler Radar F.F.O. (Friend-powered Flying Object) co-commanded by a clan of Aethers and an assembly of Beastclan races. Together they seek to record and research the diverse energies flowing throughout Sornieth, as well as advocate for improved relations between Flights. They hold a healthy rivalry with the Oculus of the Eleven, whose death threats over "stealing their livelihoods" are all in good fun!
Where the Misfit Menagerie focuses on fur-friends, the E.D.E. is where all Beastclan familiars with Fiona Feats go. In other words if it looks too human to be cute... it goes here.
This is the last of my lair clans (for now ahaha.) The following clans are all based in the Hibernal Den!

Aesthetic Imperials
Storywise, Niamh is a Light-based clan whom Vulstalridge first made contact with through the arrival of Sulien. The two have enjoyed a 'political in-laws' sort of friendship ever since Quizzle and Sulien announced their union, but other than that, Niamh plays no significant role in the overarching 'plot' of my lair. They exist peacefully and happily along the shoreline that borders the Sea of a Thousand Currents, and get by on aquatic plant gardens and sea critter ranching (including a respectable funerary piranha service!)
...Gamewise they started out as my beloved Aesthetic Imperial vortex of doom, and my first foray into any sort of dragon collecting. I don't know why or how imps became so fun for me to make cool themes out of, but for a long time these guys were my unabashed obsession. They may not bask in the center of my attention anymore, but I still hold sentimental fondness for them. And so, they shall continue to sit still and look pretty without absolutely destroying my seafood count.

We Hold On Together
Inspired by FlightRising's recent revisions to beast clan lore, Ohaeven is an underwater village situated just to the west of Tsunami Flats. It is a lovely place with a thriving, resplendent coral reef that has been tenderly cultivated for generations by the coexisting Dragons and Maren folk who call it home. It may have its own struggles and strifes like any clan, but it's nothing a tight-knit community can't face as a united front.

Sentinels of the Seedscar
Buddie was an oddball from the moment he was born. Despite hatching within the nestling boughs of the Behemoth, the auraling greeted the world with not just a set of bulbous plague eyes... but an innate pull within him that rivaled even the Behemoth's ancestral call.
Following his heart led Buddie to the wilting oak of the Seedscar, where he-- and the friends he'd made along the way-- were granted permission to stay by the ailing Captain Mizar. With her tentative blessing, the little auraboa has since dedicated himself to his unique communion with the oak tree, truly believing that it could be taught to thrive in a way that benefits the dragons who live here rather than threaten them. After all, both Plague and Nature alike strive for the same thing-- Survival. There is no bloom without rot, no spring without winter, no rebirth without one's return to the earth. All who dream within the Loop know this.
Who is to say that balance cannot be achieved?

Sing Me A Song of Conservation
A small community of dragons that care a lot about gardening. Built on good vibes, cheerful collaboration, and creative ambition, they ask for nothing more than a quiet life with room for music breaks in-between. Each of them look after a little isle with their own ecosystems and aesthetics. It's science. For fun!
Band practice is on Sundays.

All Are Welcome Here
Once keepers of a humble but pristine archive carved into the side of a low-set cliff face, Proverb and his librarians lost their precious home the day that Luminax rended itself from the dead.
Distraught, disoriented, and desperate to save their scrolls, the little everluxes might have died there were it not for Kennen. The wandering imperial jumped into action when he heard their cries and managed to whisk them all away from their hopeless predicament as the last of their library erupted in flames. However, his bravery came at grave cost-- a realization none of them had until his wild, days-long flight ended in collapse upon the spine of the Cloudsong.
The next several nights were spent tirelessly pulling him back from the brink of death. With the help and hospitality of the Cloudsong dragons, the everluxes finally managed to stabilize the imperial to whom they owed their lives. Due to the burns and strains he had suffered, he would never fly again... but that wasn't as high of a concern to Kennen as the fact that he was still breathing. Thanks to this welcoming community and the everluxes who refused to leave his side, they all had the chance for a fresh start together.
Nowadays, the little bookworms-- with their extra large bookworm friend-- maintain an impressive collection of tomes, scrolls, and everything in-between within their newly rebuilt archive atop the Cloudsong. This library is open to all with a healthy appetite for knowledge, with a good array of items available for lending. Word has it they're working on a hall for artifacts, next!

Enter. We Insist.
When the mysterious Usashi came upon an abandoned palace just outside the Obscured Crescent, she resolved to restore it to its original glory. She felt a strange kinship with the dusty sculptures within-- a comforting presence despite the lack of life behind their dull stony eyes-- and could not bear the thought of letting them remain so desolate...
Her efforts have since paid off. Today there are less empty spaces within the museum. And more eyes with a glint not quite like stone. Not one to hoard the world's beauty to herself, Ushasi is pleased to let the wayward visitor tour her relics and treasures. However, for the comfort of the host and her... works, only parties of one are permitted.
Okay, so, the Meta Reason? Too many skins and not enough OCs to wear them. Solution? GALLERY TAB.

Does your song ring true?
A collection of pearlcatchers I've handpicked to wear FlightRising's carousel attire, and the occasional carousel-adjacent attire. This glory of pearlicorns is governed by the lustrous Carou, and under the protection of the Three Untamables.

Fun Facts And Headcanons
Tidbits about my characters as well as personal world lore I've made for my own enjoyment!
- My headcanons for FR's breed sizes are different from the official website lore. You can see what I mean here (as well as buy the linearts for your own use!)
- My treatment of dragon ages are completely inconsistent. Some dragons I will flat out ignore the official hatch date of in favor of what I envisioned for them, while other times I will get *~inspired~* by other dragons' ages and make their seniority a part of their character. It really just depends on my whims.
- Each flight's country/original native species had their own naming conventions and cultures once upon a time. This has changed in today's age where migration and integration is widely prevalent. Within some geographical pockets and older communities, however, these older traditions may still be observed. I've entertained all kinds of shortlived ideas for what [insert] species culture was like prior to their spreading beyond their creator's lands, but only have solid permanent concepts for one and that is MIRRORS.
- Mirrors' naming conventions are ripped straight out of Warrior Cats. They just skip all the kit/paw/star nonsense and give their kids prefix-suffix names usually based off of striking characteristics of the hatchling in question. Sometimes immediately, but normally within a few days of the young dragon's entry into the world.
- Mirrors hailing from longstanding clans that have had very little interaction with other species talk like Skyrim khajiits. This rings true even for clans like Nightblood's that are nomadic and don't stay in one land for too long. Why? I just... always felt like they talked like that. I have no logic to grant you.
- Oh wait actually I lied, I have a headcanon for coatls too. Coatls hailing from clans that have also seen little integration from outsider breeds typically have singsongy, tune-based names that are nigh impossible to understand. Dragons of other species may give their coatl friends names that are easier to use, or a coatl who is well versed in common dragon speak will choose a name for themself.
- Most official information on breeds' temperaments, behaviors, and capabilities are outdated stereotypes. This is admittedly not always true, as I have kept some things as canon to my lore (i.e. guardian search quests and some other stuff) but there's a lot that I just don't really care to implement in my characters' own stories or my sub-worldbuilding. All mirrors are not animalistic. All fae are not expressionless. All tundras are not hopelessly forgetful. Maybe these 'facts' were written long ago as snide observations from rival breeds/clans and those stereotypes persisted into modern day misconceptions. Or maybe they are the musings of the Beastclans in a record of dragon species that started off with scholarly intent but in the end got tinged with too much passive aggressiveness. Idk who knows!
- Generally speaking, Ice and Plague dragons have a mutual respect and friendliness between one another. Both flights are molded by the hardships of their deities' realms and pushed to survive in spite of and because of them. It's pretty easy to imagine the two being on amiable terms, tbh.
- Some banescales that hatched from the "Born In Fire And Flame" event have experienced accelerated maturity as a result of their prolonged incubation. This is not a universal phenomenon, but it is conveniently the case for any banescale kids in my lore. Fiorello, Tempest, and Nakhti are all early adolescents (11-13 yr human range) despite being years younger than modern dragon teens who got to age up normally.
- Largely for the sake of comedy, aberration dragons speak in abyssal. However they have maintained a somewhat crude knowledge on common dragon speak that may not always make sense to their modern day peers (they did go in hiding quite a few ages ago.)

I just checked, there are copies on the auction house!! Its called Main Prism, 800 gems and some treasure copies <3<3

Aw yay thank you! I really like them! Yeah there's a pinglist for hatchlings on their pages; I'll breed them as soon as I'm able. I considered using a swiftbrood boon but I never have before, and I'm not sure how that works with the younger one having been breed-changed from nocturne.

maybe!!! but he's so cute as he is too :D
