Biography

Ice Crystal The Potionmaster,
Diawen

You should've got out of the red,
In the red you're better off dead
There is something intrinsic about change. Dragons chase their tails in search of change, wandering ever closer to the cliff's edge of no return, blindly and without thought. It's said that the Courts of the Fair Folk can make these changes instantaneously; whether that's growing an impatient young whelp to adulthood, changing the color of one's scales, or even morphing a dragon's silhouette. This kind of magic is volatile, and rarely exact, though those could also be excuses on the parts of nasty faeries looking to change a dragon's reflection into something monstrous and ugly. Perhaps it's best to avoid the Fair Folk and their magic of changing altogether, lest they do something irreversible.

Diawen grew up in the shadows. The shadow of her father, of her older sister, of her Royal bloodline which seemed keen to skip over her entirely. The fae of the Winter Court were kinder to her than they were her sister, thanks to Diawen's lack of demonic blood, but Diawen has always been something of an outcast. She took up potionmaking as a way to impress her father, concocting more and more impressive potions with incredible abilities. She could use these potions to shapeshift into anything and anyone, and soon Diawen became as amorphous as other shapechangers within the Courts. It's not uncommon for her to show up as a completely different looking being after testing new potions on herself. Though her concoctions are interesting, they are very rarely accurate enough to be desirable by other members of her Court.

Diawen has taken no mate.

Diawen has an antagonistic relationship with her older sister, Wren.

All faeries are proud, but the Winter Court is the most prideful of them all...

Congratulations on adopting a Descendant of the Winter Court~ Cold and unsympathetic, the Winter Court fae are as unmoving as the ice they rule over. Earning favor within this court is incredibly difficult, and those who do find it is far easier to lose their favor. The Winter Court is most well known for granting questing dragons justice, but everyone gets their due in time.
