Cunning, Overprotective, Delicate
While they're not as delicate as Candy Carnations, they all carry a contagion. Some of these roses have survived due to being the strongest as some of their weaker children perished. While the thorns may hurt the skin, it also has a symbiotic relationship with the Roses. They nourish the thorns via eating and taking care of themselves and in turn, the thorns protect them and even assist in hunting by acting like cat's claws.

They're sneaky and deceptive. Despite their fragility, they make for great hunters especially in swamps and deep undergrowth. They tend to go after prey that they can manage to take down, and if something is way out of their league- they manage to vanish without a trace.

They dislike being worried about especially if it's due to their illness. They insist that it's just nothing, and that it's every day. If you want to be friends with a Toxic Rose and you fret for their lives- then you're going the wrong way about it.

Ironically, due to their illness, the parents are overprotective of their children- especially when they leave for other lairs. Even the hatchlings have to use what they have learned in order to evade their calculating parents.
