Biography

BLEG
a childish pile of sludge

hyper | mischievous | playful

18439.png25761.png672.png

Bleg, as charming as it's goopiness and swirly little eyes may be, is a mystery to most residents of Roost's Edge and even Timo himself. Bleg itself was an experiment from Caoihme, the Wallows' local witch doctor, to see if she could create sentience from the Wallows' highly magic environment. And so Bleg was created. Of course Caoihme didn't want to care for anyone but herself, so she let Bleg run off wherever it pleased, eventually being picked up by the Wardens and further sent to Timo. Timo, not knowing how to deal with the bowl of sludge dropped on his nursery's doorstep, laid out food and water for it to eat and peered at it carefully while it shoveled everything into its goopiness. Letting Bleg choose a form was an endeavor in itself too, going through multiple days of Timo giving lessons on each species of dragon; fittingly it chose to be a Bogsneak hatchling. Bleg's consciousness can be split the further one takes the little pile of slime and ooze apart. Slorg is even an extension of Bleg itself, but sentient enough to make it's own decisions. If one wanted to be extremely cruel, if one splits Bleg apart enough, it's mind would become so confused and overwhelmed from controlling that many masses that it would truly become just a pile of slime.

RELATIONSHIPS
74591954p.png TIMO - caretaker
Bleg's primary source of care and nutrition, the sludge has grown an attachment to the plushie Coatl. One can usually see Bleg drooped across his wings or hiding underneath his sun hat.
82803195p.png GRODRUN - friend
Bleg felt a natural draw towards the seemingly statue-like dragon, but was unsure initially what was so interesting about Grodrun. It wasn't until the vines started twisting and twirling around Bleg's shapeless form that it felt a sense of homeliness.
