- Biography


One of the very few survivors of Solanus, and in fact the newly-hatched daughter of the guards initially posted to Vadim and Mae. The two skydancers took her with them when they fled, and later adopted her as their own.

Yttria, like her adoptive mother, was shade-touched, and in need of a treatment. Her adoptive uncles, Vasig and Mareth, left in search of a cure for them both.

They were too late to halt Yttria's progression, but said progression didn't go as expected.

Her shade parasite could not be fully separated from her, and instead dramatically stopped halfway, forming a fully functioning second head. Yttria became Rythika, as the parasite grew to speak and see itself as a fully-fledged entity.

Surprisingly, the "sisters" got along together well, feeling a fondness for each other - as they had been together since before even hatching.

Rythika was nervously accepted as she was, her parasite half now simply needing an extra helping of rations rather than feeding directly off her host.

Maestus and Vadim adjusted as best they could to suddenly having "twins".
