Biography

FAINE
grown from the Wallows

caring | mild | thoughtful

1125.png35550.pngQPXJTvq.png

Faine, unlike most other living organisms ever, is sewn together with vines, with sap flowing through roots and teeth and claws made of wood. Or a dryad, as commonly known in both myths and common tongue; specifically the first one created under Brecilian, lord and manifestation of the Wallow's will. And as the first dryad, essentially a being born to serve, Faine oversaw the most chaos and adjustment of an entire new region. Brecilian, as haughty and lordly and wise as he might appear now, was still vulnerable to simply being unexperienced. And as the centuries passed serving as Brecilian's most trusted servant, Faine began to grow from just a conglomeration of sticks and leaves to something actually alive, most likely from the magic of the Wallows. A loud soul who was caring yet mild-tempered now lived within Faine, at least that's what Brecilian believed. This wasn't the dryad he knew. It only took another century before he accepted Faine as a dragon and even another century before he let Faine go; mostly because Faine stopped following orders and not for Faine's own desires to explore and experience the world. Now he wallows in the Down Underneath, tending to the small gardens and farms.

RELATIONSHIPS
58507518p.png BRECILIAN - estranged boss
After Faine left the Wallows for good, he took some time to reflect on his unhealthy relationship with Brecilian. Faine has made the conscious decision to never step foot in the magic swamp again.
82803195p.png GRODRUN - friend
Faine knew at first glance that Grodrun wasn't an actual dragon; a part of the Wallows called to him from the statue like "dragon". Faine often gives vine care tips for the "dragon", trimming some old roots and dying stems that have coiled around his stoney legs.
