Through miles of thorn Sat one single rose.... It was a poem he had heard often from his mother. She who had cheated death. Or was it that cheating death was the business of the clan? He may never know. What he did know, was that his mother was an Assassin, and his father a Liar. And both met in a deadly game in the Tangled Wood. How they had been retrieved was beyond him, but they had. One of his sisters returning to his father's home in the land of plague, another to a clan who had lost a dragon to the forest, and he going back to the Blacksand Annex, never knowing what transpired in that horrible wood. He returned, parentless, but soon after the blue one had brought her back, though the white coatl was frozen solid. Some time later she was thawed, but distant. Eventually she warmed up to him, once she began to remember the forest and the horrors within.

Once her mother was brought back, It seemed almost immediate that the other assassins began to train him. Though he wasn't the same whites and reds as most, he continued, and still continues to train, hoping that one day he will become a master like Aurelia or Drift.

His mother was a killer, his father a liar. His sisters a cheater and a hunter. And he would become an assassin.
