Biography

Faron
He/Him (they/them works too)
Previous spoiled brat, now book-writer/historian
dragon?did=83036610&skin=47644&apparel=22658,21240,21289,21281,21273,22656,21297,33687,477,33689&xt=dressing.png

Son to a noble family from the now destroyed kingdom of Felovia. His family had escaped the war that decimated their homeland, and due to their immense political and economic power, was able to secure a safe home in the capital of the Empire.

From an early age, Faron has a very simple concept of the world. He knew that there were the rich, the not-so rich, and the poor. Those without wealth were to work for the wealthy to earn their keep, and that was it. He was the rich, and therefore, sat deservedly above those who had not been so fortunate. Had you asked him why being born lucky meant he deserved such wealth, he would simply shrug. "It was the will of the gods," He would say, and that was that.

As he grew into his teenage years, Faron began to feud more and more with his parents, often over issues like menial housework or poor manners with the occasional house guest. He showed rapidly decreasing effort in academic work and began to belittle and demean the exceedingly few friends he had. In an attempt to "straighten out" their son, his parents evicted him. The day he reached adulthood, he was sent out into the world to learn hardship in hopes that he would mature into a more manageable member of the household.

~~~
His first months in the real world, unsupported by his family's wealth or protection, was terrifying. Faron learned quickly that his status as an aristocrat meant nothing beyond the boarders of his mansion. Just as quickly, he discovered this only made him a target to those eager to make quick and dirty money. To those that recognized him, the idea of ransoming him was an alluring idea, and a pathetically easy task to commit. Anyone that approached him could see his only concept of "self-defense" was to scream and cower. Naively, he sought shelter in the homes of his family's business "friends". Faron discovered they were just as, if not more eager to broker deals with criminals to get a cut of the money.
Though he was quick to shed his expensive and identifiable silk suit, he was far less eager to abandon his old mindset. The world, however, was fervid to temper his ego. Faron first attempted to find a life in one of the bustling metropolises of the Empire, Esbonton. His spoiled upbringing did little to prepare him in the way of labor or trade skills of any kind, and with frustration, he left the large city for smaller settlements. Away from larger civilization.
~~~

Months had passed since his eviction, and his petulance petered out into exhaustion and anxiety. Faron's impudent attitude had made the few villages that had initially tolerated him drive him out. It wasn't long until he found himself at the edge of the woods that bordered the territory of the Empire. If he had trouble settling within the lands, the wastes would be far more impossible to survive in.

Venturing into the He had found a small camp that had been seemingly abandoned. He slept soundly for hours, before awaking to two dragons standing above him.

To his relief and surprise, they had not ran him out, teeth bared and claws slashing. Instead they provided him a much needed warm meal.

The kind one was Talhea, who bore the symbol of Ebsonton's Archeology division on her cape. Her paws were heavily calloused and dirt was caked into the folds of her palms. Her glasses bore stains of dust and the left lens was shattered slightly in it's corner. There was an aura to her, one that the other did not have. She radiated calm. To Faron–who for the past months had been escaping near certain death every week–she was a godssend.

The scary one was Carvet. Much the opposite of Talhea, Carvet bore a fierce scowl and was covered in scars of varying size and age. Faron had never payed much attention to history, but he could tell by the patterning of Carvet's dagger sheath that it, and likely he, was not from the Empire. He could equally tell that Carvet recognized the patterning on Faron's own clothes as Empirian, especially that of the loyalist's. He wasn't happy about that.
