Biography
VITA GREENWITCH
Adult
I almost tore the scroll up in my talons.
By all the trees, that queen infuriates me. Although I knew barely anything about the Faithwater Kingdom's ruler, I was certain that her talent was angering other dragons. Maybe angering other clans and kingdoms was her entire line's talent, actually -- her insidious son stole my sister away from me. My sister could have been safe within the leaves and roots of our home, yet she ran off alongside a violent suitor. She and her lover had horrifically attacked my head guard, Bramble, as they ran away during my coronation. And then it was Bramble who gave me idea to fight for her back.
All of this only for that queen to tell me the couple was no where to be found. They spent months protecting them only for them to disappear again?
I was certain that it was their son's brilliant, anger-fuming idea. The moment I find him, I will make sure he'll have a nice time with my carnivorous plant collection.
So much for stealing my sister and taking her to a place she might drown at.
I furiously screamed in my throne room, my mad wingbeats causing the throne's floral displays to blow petals and leaves away. Bramble rushed up the steps to be by my talons.
"Vita!" he cried out. "It'll be okay, it'll be okay --"
His gaped his hideous, scarred mouth. Seeing it reminded me of the day my coronation was ruined. "Really?" I asked, rolling my eyes.
"Well, take a deep breath. In a good scenario we can always continue the war. You are smart, Vita, and I'm sure you figured out that they are lying," the pale Obelisk rushed.
"Lying!" I hissed.
Come to think of it, that surely sounded like the Faithwaters' type of game. That would make sense, actually. I wondered if Ivy's suitor lured her in with promises of riches and treasure, which would make sense since the Faithwaters had all of such. Or maybe he promised to love her forever, which was most likely not true. And now, I wondered if they were trying to save themselves by claiming their son and Ivy were missing.
"You want your sister back. The entire kingdom does, too, because she's a valuable dragon to us," Bramble spoke in a wistful manner. "We have to keep fighting."
In the background, I saw some guards giving each other the side-eye and grumbling. Something about how the fighting was unnecessary and kept dragging out for too long.
He kept going. "We have to show the Faithwaters that we do not back down. That we are Nature dragons who will not allow anyone to trample us. We need to have Ivy back."
I finally ripped the paper in half and sighed out. My voice sounded calmer this time, but still radiating with anger like a small flame. "Let me think about it, Bramble. I need to look into this a little more."
