i8Xtr2A.gif Sold to the captain at the time, Firefeather from a clan that was keeping him prisoner, Decimus had a fairly easy start aboard the ship. He learned picked up lessons and jargon quickly. Despite being a nuisance because of his silence, Decimus worked diligently until one dragon stole his beloved necklace. The mirror that stole it disappeared overnight but by the time the thief was discovered missing it was too late for accusations and Decimus was left alone after that.

Though the captain of the ship has since changed thrice over Decimus remains loyal and ever silent. The brief friendship he had with a passing ridgeback seemed to make him a little calmer and more willing to speak but he only ever opened his mouth when need-be.
