Biography
// Rinshan kaihou (嶺上開花) - 1 han - Player wins via the dead wall draw after calling kan. //
// Well, the name makes sense to me, anyway. "嶺上開花" seems to translate to something around "flower blooming on the range/mountain". The dead wall is something you don't get to draw from very often, as kans themselves can be pretty scarce, and this girl's the only hatch so far between her parents, so... Rinshan it is. //
"Father, your luck just won't run out! This book is centuries old, yet perfectly preserved..."
Rinshan, sometimes called Rin, helps maintain Risensong's extensive library, alongside her father, Tenhou. She spends most of her days stuck in books, either reading through the passages or being shocked yet again at the main way her father's incredible luck manifests - the impeccable condition the books are found and kept in. The glasses were a gift from her father when she first started maintaining the library, and she takes almost the same care of them as the books she looks after.
Quiet and cheerful, Rinshan can be very easy to lose in the library, but can also be found just as easily - she carries a large number of dried herbs and plants for their scents, usually brought back by Sahrus and Canarekke when they return from their travels, as well as ones grown by her mother, and can easily be tracked by the strength of the scent. She may also be heard quietly humming to herself as she scans the shelves.
Doesn't seem able to move very quickly. She and others in the clan insist it's because she doesn't want to jostle the herbs, but there's a sadness in their eyes that hints at a more likely reason...
