GALACTIC AETHER

ROLE ~
The Aether seek to travel among the stars. Their ancestors went into orbit but could never break the pull of the world; Galaxus is determined to make space travel real. They work day in and day out on theories, engineering, and magi-tech to bring their goal closer to fruition. Other times she’s meeting with allied clans to share data, hoping that a combined effort will speed things up.

DESCRIPTION ~
Galaxus may seem like a head-in-the-clouds type at first, always dreaming about the stars when there’s so much to discover on Sornieth. However, she’s sharper than she looks, knowing more about aerodynamics and mechanical engineering than the average Wind or Lightning dragon. However, they are an eager and easily distracted sort. If one gets them going in a rousing conversation, she’s likely to ramble on until sundown if permitted. She’s fond of big, fancy-sounding words, and will pepper them into sentences as much as possible, to the point where she’ll stale mid-conversation to replace a boring, common word with a more grandiloquent counterpart.

She’s more compact than her kin, falling under the smaller side of the size spectrum. Galaxus’ main body is covered in decorative squiggles as if she had an altercation with a bottle of glitter, and her light pink wings are similarly festive, patterned with pastel splotches of color. Her wings and tail are outlined with vibrant pink butterfly-like tassels, and her eyes swirl inwards as if she’s gazed at the stars for too long, permanently altering her sight.

AUXILIARY ~

Orbit is extra sensitive to magic fluctuations and will circle spherical objects more fervently when a severe influx has occurred. Galaxus watches this behavior intently to determine the best energy sources; her current theory is that a mix of elemental energy might be the best fuel for a ship. They make sure to reward the spirit with appropriate amounts of pets, compliments, and treats, which, in this case, are larger objects to spin around.
