With no parents to her name, Arcee was raised as part of a femme collective, a group of females chosen to perform elite functions. Arcee, alongside her adopted sisters, was trained in combat and every conceivable form of slaughter. She spent much of her youth serving as a sell sword and dedicated herself to destruction for whoever held her contract. This only came to a stop after the war began to rage and her previously dampened morals came forward.

Arcee is not a particularly loving individual, at least not openly. She can be bitter, bloodthirsty, and cynical. However, she holds a special fondness for her familiar and her mate. She obeys orders loyally and is dedicated to the Autobot cause so much that she is more than willing to die for it. There is no one else who can claim to love the Autobots more than her, save for perhaps Ratchet.
Arcee is mated to Cliffjumper, a younger and far more easy-going individual. She was previously mated to another whose name she refuses to speak, but she is happy with her current mate and adores every hatchling she has with him. Thus far none of her hatchlings have stayed with her, but she has kept tabs on those who have not gone on to serve the local higher beings.
