DYMURA
hoard manager | librarian "she/her" |

History xxDymura did not remember the first years of her life. Her first memory consisted of her waking up in a healer's den, on the cusp of adulthood. xx"An attack", the healer had explained curtly, already pushing her out once she opened her eyes. She had wandered the Plateau after that, alone and distressed over her origin; what happened to her? xxLuckily, she found a small reprieve; literature of all kinds brought a distraction from the cruelty of her fellow dragons, and she often went weeks or months in Libraries, using them as a home until she was kicked out. Despite the negative emotions that came with each inevitable banishment, she was at least able to find relief in a new friend; a magical collection of living books, which she lovingly named Worm. xxHer happening upon the Druidkeep had been nothing short of coincidence; she had been exiled from nearly every library in Sornieth, and was searching for a massive, sacred library rumored to exist in the Nature Flight, one owned by the Gladekeeper herself, where all dragons were welcomed no matter the time of day. xxInstead of a library, she found a rather humble group of dragons, all who had youthful hearts shown by their endless jokes and tricks, and she was a goner. She, who had never known true love outside the companionship of a familiar, was so much in the throes of it that she immediately joined them, welcomed in with warm arms. Now, she spends her days resting with them or talking their ears off about literature, and one thing is for certain; she has never been happier in her life. |
Information Name // DYMURA -- Origin of name // n/a Age // 48 -- Birthday // december 18th Occupation // librarian Role // hoard manager Personality // despite her regal, calm, and motherly disposition, dymura can sometimes be a massive ball of energy, throwing her clanmates for a loop when she's caught nearly jumping off the walls in excitement or anger. her mates all encourage her to let go of her serious persona every once in a while, loving that she is learning to come out of her shell and show just how happy or angry or sad something makes her. she's exceptional at communication, and would do anything for her mates and familiars; even pranking unsuspecting hatchlings! -- Likes // books and reading, playing hide and seek, tea -- Dislikes // being alone, peanuts, cracked book spines Familiar // WORM -- Role of familiar // oftentimes keeps dymura grounded in the present, reminding her to breathe or to calm down whenever she gets worked up about something. the rest of dymura's mates are eternally grateful to them, gently restoring worm's worn covers as payment. without worm, dymura doesn't know where she'd be; everyone needs a worm at some point, and how lucky is dymura to have had them for most of her remembered life. |
