biography.
Lotus' familiarity with and expertise on plants might trick you into thinking he has decades or even centuries of experience. In reality, he spent the majority of his life as a mercenary, traveling around Sornieth and solving (or in some cases exacerbating) regional disputes the old fashioned way. After many years, he realized that the money was no longer worth constantly being surrounded by violence and bloodshed. If he were to leave the group, however, he would be leaving behind friendships he'd spent years cultivating. Ultimately, after their leader betrayed him, he came to the conclusion that there was nothing there worth staying for. He fled to the Viridian Labyrinth under the cover of night, traversing deep into the Shrieking Wilds until he discovered the Sunstalk and the community of dragons living around it. Here, he finally found peace in cultivating life rather than death.
