  • Was once an Imperial
  • Has severe anxiety, particularly social anxiety, and his large size only made him more anxious
  • He wanted to be small, unnoticeable, like a fae
  • He was presented with the opportunity to become a Nocturne. Little was known about the breed at the time. All he knew was that they were much smaller than Imperials, so he jumped on the chance
  • The transformation did not go as smoothly as hoped. The change was drawn out and painful, and came with many side effects.
  • He DID get his wish of becoming tiny, but he was much smaller than a Nocturne should be. Instead he's roughly the size of a green iguana (about 5 feet long and most of that is tail) from nose to tail tip.
  • Another side effect of his rough transformation was that his wings were rendered withered and useless. Using prosthetic enhancements, he can use them to glide short distances, but he will never fly.
  • All things considered, he is much happier than he was as a giant imp.
  • Few rarely see the timid dragon now. He spends much of his time in the deepers of the Starwood Forest, high in the branches.
  • For some reason the Slumbering Beast of the Starwood Forest, Marzik, tolerates his presence. He is the only one who can wake her and live to tell the tale.
  • When he starts to get anxious again, he will curl up with her. She'll huff and grumble, but allows him to cuddle up to her.


    From the very beginning, Cittu has been flighty, anxious, and insecure. "You're an Imperial." They would tell him. "You have no reason to be insecure!" They would say. But it never helped. He didn't want to be big. He wanted to be small. A little fae or something. He wanted to be something that was small, and easily ignored. He didn't want to be noticed.

    When the offer to become a Nocturne came about, he gladly accepted. Small and in the shadows. It was perfect. He's still insecure, and requires near constant reassurance from the only dragon he actually wants attention from, his mate Marzik. How that sleeping beast puts up with Cittu's constant whining is anyone's guess. Cittu is the only one who can wake her and live to tell the tale.
