The Justice

"Every dark corner will soon see the light."

High Justice of Val-ar-Aion; or at least, formerly. One of the An'iel, Toba was created by the Lightweaver to act as an impartial arbiter in the aftermath of the first wars. The harsh sentencing of Ahrima in ancient times left her bitter towards the matriarch's rule. What use was a Justice when the queen could simply elect herself judge, jury, and executioner? Exile from the country he had helped build was cruel enough a punishment for Ahrima's mistake, but to take his eyes and brand him as a scapegoat forevermore was unforgivable. She could not abide it; and so she retired from the post she had been created for, and went into self-exile at the tower of Firstlight. She turned her back on the summer country, forever facing east towards the sea, and the Beacon of the Radiant Eye.
