Biography

Wing Bones Wing Bones Wing Bones Wing Bones Wing Bones Wing Bones

Deeply devoted to the Plaguebringer, Heni has a tendency to contradict herself quite often. The way she treats one dragon can flip completely if she hears a doctrine interpreted different. When the ritualists start arguing, she will sit and listen for hours to deduct who is in the right.

At times she will take things quite literally, and violently enforce her beliefs. And in the same breath forget what she heard in the first place. There has been more than one case where Heni has been punishing someone for hours, not able to remember what she is angry about.
This makes her more suspectible to trickery, which Heni does not let go well. Misunderstandings often turn quite bloody.

Heni is Skalgrim's mate, but is not loyal to him. She follows him into battle, carefully watching his deeds to determine his current skill. If he performs well, she is eager to bear hatchlings with him. Should he fail or perform poorly, she seeks other mates until Skalgrim can prove himself again.

Tundra Hounds

The tundra dragons of the clan have a specific function, in how they remember smells of friend and foe. To control their clan, the most devout tundra dragons are put in charge of finding deserters that manage to get away from the ranks.

Patrols of tundra dragons, and sometimes skydancers, can be seen prowling populated areas in search of potential lost clanmates. The tundra noses pick up on the scent, and may sometimes hound down their target. If the risk is too high, a skydancer may stalk the prey until sufficient opportunity or backup arrives.

A tundra taking the role as hound may see themselves promoted quickly, as multiple successful missions and rewards gives them an edge in showing their devotion. The trust allows them to search for more resources as well, and experiences dragons of the clan might normally miss.
