Raya is the daughter of Cyraeneus, the leader of the Shoaler sirens. She looks exactly like her father, and is similar to him in temperament, though Cyraeneus would say his daughter is much more stubborn.

Like her father, Raya loves the reef and the many creatures in protects. She tries to do the best by her people, but also yearns for the adventure and danger that the trench represents. Her father doesn't let her go far from the reef, seeking to protect her from danger, and Raya wants to see what else is out there.

Surely the Trenchers are not as bad as her father makes them out to be? Maybe if she said the right thing, spoke to the right leader, she could bring both of the different Siren races together.

Raya is Cyraeneus' first born daughter. Unlike her siblings who left the Reef to travel, Raya stayed with her father. They are identical in looks and personality, so often clash, but Cyraeneus loves his daughter fiercely, and wants the best for her.

MEERA
Meera is Raya's young half-sister. Raya is very fond of her, and protected her sister when the shoal was under attack.

Yara was the most Shoaler of Raya's first clutch, the merling scaled and brightly coloured. The only charactistic highlighting her Trencher sire is her black eyes.

Darya looks just like her father, Buron the Silver Shark. Though there is a slight streak of colour on her tail betraying Shoaler blood.

Cari doesn't fit into either world like her sisters, caught between Shoaler and Trencher, she struggles to find her place.
