S U M M A R Y
Naturally skilled at his craft from a young age, the great hunter Orion built up a heroic reputation in his homeland of Dragonhome as a protector of the caravans his family, which through trade had become a powerful and wealthy dynasty, managed. He was beloved by those who worked under him for valiantly defending them from the dangers of the desert and just as appreciated by the allies of his family, who viewed him instead as a charming young businessman. His enemies, however - and any unfortunate passersby who've gotten in his way - have seen a very different side of him. Orion is skilled, sure, but his tactics are more underhanded than he lets on, something a traveling Water Flight dragon Oenopion saw firsthand when he witnessed Orion unleashing a terrible monster upon the desert in order to valiantly defeat it later on. Immediately he brought this to the caravans, transforming Orion into a pariah in Dragonhome in a transgression the great hunter saw fit to avenge in only one way: by bringing Oenopion as much pain as possible. The Skydancer was his mark, and his family his targets. For the time being, Orion has convinced Clan Valor to allow him to stay in their territory as he tracks his prey, but how long will it be until someone realizes there's something suspect about this decorated hunter? With the presence of Erik, a former denizen of Dragonhome himself, the answer is likely, "not long."
