ABOUT

Born to a family rich in lore, she is a descendent of many a line. However, she was made aware of the one she is deeply in love with - the home of Waterdeep. Akralya was quite the hatchling, causing mayhem and discourse within the lands of Sornieth and making many a dragon angry at her. It didn't take long however for her to be put back in her place and the fiery personality put to good use. She trained within the Waterdeep as a warrior, spending years becoming adept with a weapon and gathering knowledge to protect herself and home. As it is tradition though, she was set to be a diplomat for a while, spending years travelling and ensuring peace reigned in the land she walked. Falling in love with what she did, she gathered herself up and threw away any sort of dreams of grandeur and continued her diplomatic lifestyle. As it was her birthright, she carried her beliefs in Suzaku with her, wearing the bright red runes upon her with pride.

Within her travels she came upon one of the archangels. Akralya had heard many a tale of them and had seen the winged beauties within the skies of her birth so she knew what she had in front of her, however the male was very different. He did not hold any grudge, any anger, or any aggression in his veins. Even worse? He refused to leave her alone. He followed her to the point she became happy to have his company and fell in love with him. Necro helped her become comfortable in her magics of fire and her craft of potion making. He even taught her that it's okay to be vulnerable and accept that not everyone will like someone, but she had to learn it's okay to love herself.

As the now mated pair travelled together, they came across a group of dragons that made their home in the cold and desolate lands of the Icewarden. Greeted by the ambassadors of their kingdom, Akralya and Necro met with the royalty and their many subjects. It didn't take long for the pair to become comfortable in the icy lands and decide, this was home.

It is customary for young Avariels to consult with diviners near the time of their birth, or before important turning points in their lives. The old practice is slowly taking root in Sornieth. The diviner rattles their satchel, shuffling the runes within before spilling them across the table. They read only those that are face up.

Akralya was born under the banner of the Phoenix Goddess, Suzaku. Those born in such circumstances are known for their indomitable wills above all else. The largest rune revealed is the Spirit Rune. This implies Akralya has inherited their penchant for the healing arts. Transferring life through bending light and shared warmth is a supremely precise art that requires the right mindset and drive. It is difficult enough on its own, but usually only those blessed by Suzaku can unlock its full potential – rebirth. The necromantic arts aren’t frowned upon in Avariel circles, as long as they are done correctly. It’s always important that the right spirit comes back, and Akralya has the potential to wield that impressive power.

Two smaller runes deign to explain her future.

With ether, Akralya will have the most consistency. The ether represents the unknown quantity of fate, the frequency and intensity by which the unexpected intervenes in Akralya's life. It is a concept revered and feared in equal measure. The more inconsistent one’s tie to ether is, the less tethered to a singular fate they are.

In contrast, the most volatile aspect in her life will be her health. Health refers to her physical, mental and all-around well-being. She is advised to hold tightly to the best parts of this aspect, because it is only a matter of time before they disperse.

To complete the reading, one close to Akralya selects the final rune. Malek, her grandfather, finds the rune for love, bestowing the most sincere blessing in the eye of fate.
