Gloandi
Founder and matriarch of Clan Windor

Orphaned as an egg, Gloandi was found by astronomers of the Starfall Isles and brought up within an observatory, cared for by the many scholars who worked there. Life quickly became academic, and as she was surrounded by stars and mountains of books, one would think that she would have a passion for them, but this was not the case. She found astronomy dull, and never took the time to read the many texts scattered about. She did well in her education, specializing in cartography and plant biology, but contentedly flunked the study of stars. Impatient, Gloandi often spent time outside where she did not have to sit and be quiet, often collecting flowers and playing with the younger dragons who were like siblings to her.

Once she came of age to begin The Search, she readily left her home, knowing that whatever she would find was far away. On her travels she made companions, Leronde, Snowdrop, and Hans, who would become her closest friends.

Nothing yet, but likely go into how the team wound up in the Wind territory and founded their clan. That's probably way more interesting than I give it credit for.

I like to incorporate art into my bios, because I think that's really cute and personalized. Admittedly it can get a little disorderly depending on how big the art pieces are, or how varied the styles are. But those are small things.

I can't decide if that Tsum is too big? It's okay to say that since I drew it.

Gloandi has mellowed much in her adulthood, often recognized for her kindness, level-head, and good advice. She's popular with hatchlings, who often bring her flowers, and has a strong sense of maternity. She still retains her stubborn personality, however, at times becoming unflinching in her opinions and unwilling to discuss certain topics.

As a leader, she is kind and always accepting of travelers, whether their stay be temporary or permanent, and will try to make the proper accommodations should they need it. She is patient and attempts to keep all members of the community satisfied, but will draw the line if she feels any behavior is offensive, cruel, or otherwise rule breaking. If a conflict were to arise within the clan itself, the clansmen are required to handle such matters in a civil manner, or bring the issue to her directly to preside over.
