Biography
How long am I cursed to wander the Wastes as a ronin? As an Imperial, my lifespan should have ended long ago. But still, I wander. I believe it is to atone for past mistakes. I believe this is my afterlife, and that only by repairing the damage I have caused will I be able to guarantee another life beyond this one.
I am Mechanical. This, I know, is an uncommon name. But I have taken it as my own; my old name, if I ever had one, is lost to the sands of time, and I would not use it even if I recalled. That name bears the shame of whatever failure I committed.
This clan is a good clan. They fight to survive, but such is the way of Plague. I shall honor them by fighting alongside them. There are a particular group of dragons here who are distinctly unnatural, however I cannot deny feeling a strong kinship with their warrior ways. One of them, Chrome, has told me that she considers me one of them. The highest compliment: belonging.
At daybreak, I shall join them in a great battle against the Shade. If this world has a Devil, then the Shade is it. Perhaps, by fighting against it, I will recover my honor, my strength, and perhaps even my past life's memories. Whether or not those will be pleasant memories, I cannot say for certain. But I will fight, with honor and dignity, no matter what occurs.
