Rigui has a cool and calm personality. She is not often seen expressing strong emotion, but it is said her joy is contagious and her ire can pierce the soul.

She was born in the crowded Murkbarrow Close. Her father was absent, and her mother left her when she was an adolescent after leaving for The Forum of the Obscured Crescent. Rigui spent some years in Murkbarrow Close before finally deciding to leave, accepting that her mother may have decided to join The Shadowbinder.

Rigui feels at home in Yang Zhi Men. She hopes to perhaps find a partner here, but she is content on her own for now; she is learning how to make herself happy and growing from the years spent on her own.

She enjoys spending time with Qiangyue and is his only close friend. During their time together, she has come to like him a lot.
