Tefnut's mother, Eve, was born of an angel and a demon but seemed to only have the abilities of a normal dragon. Eve believed that when creating her, the opposing powers of her parents were canceled out. Growing up, Eve believed that her descendants would be completely powerless and mortal as she was. However, when her first son was born, the shine in his eyes told her otherwise. Her parents' abilities would live on. Tefnut grew up in the shadow of her brother. It was not like Tefnut's parents tried to treat her any differently, but Tefnut believed that she would never be as special as her brother. She was just a normal dragon -- well, not fully normal. When Dunlow and Eve first introduced Tefnut to her great-grandfather on her father's side, Zahavi, the first thing he was "what an odd little girl." Eve immediately retorted at him something vile, something she rarely ever did, and took Tefnut away from him. She was protective of her from then on and smothered her with love and affirmation. It didn't matter if she had powers like her grandparents or was as grand as her great-grandparents; she had a good soul, and that was enough. Tefnut's abilities still have time to manifest, but she cares less and less about magic. She cares more and more about what she can do now. Tefnut is a toymaker. She has been tinkering and playing since she was little, and now she does it for a living. |

Growing up, love had a somewhat orthodox meaning in her life. Her great-grandparents on her father's side were both Imperials. Her grandparents on her mother's side were (despite their differing alignments) spirals. The most unusual relationship she has observed is her parents' own relationship, not romantic but a deep and powerful friendship -- This is all why she found it a bit strange when she realized she was falling for an Aberration. Soraya was gentle, wise, and had a great smile on both of her faces. Tefnut had the humor and wit for both of them. Ignoring their breeds, no one could deny that it was a great match. With the help of surrogates, Tefnut and Soraya will have many children. As long as they have a good soul, it doesn't matter if they have powers or not, if they are grand or not. They will be enough. |
