Former sibling to the near-identical twins Lexa and Luca who disappeared into the sands, never to return.
Her parents never really got over their loss, and she knows it. She misses them too.

Although her father Audemus is quite distant, her other father Ozi took care of her well. She could see it was hard for him, but thankfully he was never alone.
One of Audemus' children (and thus, her half-sibling) Oskari offered to help Ozi wherever they could. Audemus' eldest daughter Aulus also pitched in, although everyone seemed pretty reticent to let her spend too much time with a young, pliable mind. Ara was also a major part of her upbringing, acting as something like a therapist, helping her to come to terms with what her parents were going through and how to move on from the loss of her siblings.

Unhappy with the more masculine name she was originally given by her parents, she gave herself the nickname 'Melon' but emphasizes that it is not her final, 'grown-up' name—she's just not yet quite ready to decide and dedicate to herself to any one name.
