Bio
Vindvingr is an orphaned skydancer, raised by a kind family among the Zephyr Steppes. Since he was a boy, he wanted to fulfil his duty as a skydancer by becoming a dancer in the winds. At the age of 14, he joined a team of skydancers in the Cloudsong Monastery, and began learning the ways of the dancer.

Like all the students there, Vindvingr strived to master the signature dance of the monastery - the Cloudsong Aria. This was a special dance that would change the very essence of his soul. After 5 years of practice, when the conditions were just right, Vindvingr began the dance at the dawn of the Summer Solstice. As the sun rose, Vindvingr danced with the wind, becoming one with the currents around him. And as he danced, he felt the wind flow into him, changing him. When he was finished, Vindvingr was a changed dragon. He felt a new power within his soul - the power of Cloud Magic.

The next day, the monastery trainers told him that they had nothing more to teach him. They were proud of what Vindvingr had achieved, and told him that he should depart to teach the dance to skydancers all around the world. Vindvingr nodded, and departed his home of 5 years, eager to pass this dance on to others.

But how exactly was he to do that?

It was around that time that Vindvingr found Ashmane's Company. He signed on as an explorer and a scout, and became a member of Ashmane's adventuring party. From then on, he leant his services as a Cloudsong Skydancer to the party, hoping to travel to many places and find eager recruits for his dance.

And perhaps, there were similar dances hidden throughout the world too.

Etymology
Vindvingr is a portmanteau of Vind (Wind) + Vingr (Friend)
