One of the first things you'll learn in the Rotmarrow Clan is that you should just ignore Mindy. Don't look at her, don't spare her your food and drink, and certainly don't talk to her.

The product of an affair between the Clan's Alchemist and Messenger, Mindy grew up with two siblings and little supervision because of their busy parents. She never displayed much aptitude for anything, and never got an apprenticeship with any of the older dragons because of it. Her siblings, though a bit harsher on the eyes, were far more talented than her, and her jealousy was nearly palpable.

Needless to say, Mindy was the prime suspect when her siblings went missing. She didn't bother lying and was subsequently kicked out of the Clan, though she still follows them from a distance.

Mindy has become something of a bogeyman for Rotmarrow hatchlings, though none of them seem to understand that she truly exists until they see her for themselves, often buried neck-deep in the decaying carcass of an unfortunate dragon. A few of the braver hatchlings and newcomers have tried to make contact, but were driven off either by the stench of death that follows her or the crazed loneliness so clearly visible in her eyes.
