Biography
‧͙⁺˚*・༓☾ Jadu ☽༓・*˚⁺‧͙
"I devote myself to nothing and all."
ुEstranged Family ु
Jadu often heard stories growing up of his grandfather, a simple rouge-trained dragon who adores his children. A Tundra like him, she secretly longs to meet him. She envies his laid-back life, while her patriarchal blood has given her anything but the sort.
Born a Labyrinthian, Jadu trained from hatchlinghood to pass his trial in the Labyrinth's inner sanctum. With flying colours she passed - and made her sacrifice. The Labyrinth granted him magic, the power to do miracles, but stole her sight. More specifically, her eyes. Her eye sockets are filled with slimelike shadows, dripping off her face ceaselessly. Jadu entered the heart of the sanctum a fiery young dragon, and when she left a stumbling Labyrinthian. She left the Labyrinth as soon as she could, aided by her familliar companion. While her lineage is no secret, Jadu is loathe to discuss it. He tries to live the most 'normal' life he can manage in Sornieth - but does so enjoy using the magic she was gifted with. After all, why should he make his own sacrifice for nothing? |
҉ Shadow's Favour ҉
Jadu wandered into the Shadowbinder's domain on no accident - she was in fact attracted to tales she had heard of within the dark mist of the Tangled Wood. The sunken earth proved to be everything he had dreamed, and an ancient lair in the Forum of the Obscured Crescent became her new home. Clan Cynefin welcomed Jadu warmly, helping her get accusomed to the twisting system of their lair. He can now navigate it better than most, guided by the feel of the rocks and the pattern of the turns.
Magic became his hobby, working alongside the mages of the Whelming Hollows - one of which was, strangley enough, a rat - he was not the least bit out of place. In fact, the clan eased many of his fears. Jadu's magic and miracle-working was carefully and pointedly never abused. It was up to her when she wanted to perform a miracle for or otherwise work with another dragon. The lair was made accessible to her with tacticle signage, and no one was unnerved by her eyes - or lack thereof. In fact, she was revered for being marked by the shadows of the realm. |
