The child of a god and a mortal, Yalia was left to her own devices at a too young age, left alone on the bustling streets of Arcana Central as a hatchling. And while she is a demigod, dragons usually blessed with weaker magic, Yalia was given the power to control and manipulate the very blood that flows through the gods: ichor. Although her powers and even her heritage remained unknown to her, as no lords ever reside in Arcana Central for long. Only when she was contacted by Tirwyn, another demigod, was she given the full context for her powers and her parents. The Tundra warned her to keep her powers secret as many lords would want her killed on the spot for the potential danger she brings. Conflicted about her entire identity as a dragon, Yalia roams discreetly at Arcana Central, displaced and confused.

Tirwyn was akin to a light in Yalia's life, a dragon patient and willing to answer all of her questions about being a demigod and lords. They still send each other letters occasionally, the Tundra even offering to live in his town Down Underneath.

Andrine has been keeping a close eye on Yalia for her potential strength and danger, sometimes buying the younger dragon food and giving her shelter in her house. Although Andrine is careful not to linger around Yalia too long, still fearing what she might accidentally do to Andrine.
