Windfire

Windfire's egg was found among the scorched remains after a wildfire had swept a decent portion of the Plateau, and it was determined that the egg must have somehow found it's way from the Fire Flights Domain here, where it smoldered and caught the surrounding grassland on fire.

Once discovered, the Clan's predominant outcast Omen, whose own egg had wound up in the Wind Flight's territory and found by Mordread's clan, took over the care of the little lost life. He dug a small den deep into the earth where the intense heat from the egg would not harm the surrounding wildlife, and kept a fire continuously lit to simulate the eggs natural environment. Rain or shine Omen could be seen tending the flames and protecting the den, until one day, a little Guardian was born.

Perhaps it is due to the Windsinger's magical influence, or just her natural colouring, that she so resembles the very windswept plains she was born in. Windfire constantly emits a warmth uncharacteristic of other dragons in the Plains as though her body remembers it's origins; and thus her name Windfire was given.
