Some know Dys and Nomia as the Poisoners, because they believe their twisted ideas have corrupted the good sense of the Magistry. These twins have an obsession with long life and survival- perhaps rooted in their Plagueish ancestry and a fear of being seen as weak. No information passes the Magistry without being seen by them, so no secrets can truly be kept.

Since they joined, members of the Magistry have survived seemingly fatal wounds and diseases while other dragons have mysteriously vanished. They appear to owe this to the Stardust Ritual, which Dys and Nomia were at the helm of. Two of their allies are heavily involved: Vindemiatrix, who transmutes the forms of dragons, and Pleione, who studies the passage of souls. Thus, by means unclear to outsiders, members of the Magistry continue their work indefinitely.
