Perhaps a testament to the clan's desperation in its earlier days, SnowWhite was among the individuals chosen to try out for the clan knights. She knew she was not cut out for the task, but gave it her best for the budding community. She was immediately dismissed when she could not bring herself to harm a thing. Relieved of her duties, SnowWhite made to return to the clan, but took a detour when she found a member of the beastclan injured from battle. Surely he had been harmed by one of her clansmen in the tryouts, but she could see no reason not to treat the stranger's wounds. The following morning, SnowWhite set out to help the clan in a new area. On her own she ventured from the small settlement into the wilds, wishing to begin a garden in some fertile ground located by one of the scouts. Had anyone known what she was doing, they would have stopped her; the land was still teeming with unknown beastclan and untamed animals, and was much too dangerous for a young dragon to explore on her own. But when she set herself to work in the meadow, the member of the beastclan from yesterday—a dwarf hainu—stood guard beside her, allowing SnowWhite to return home safely that evening. "Oh, he was quite nice." But the others, gathered around the fire, were disbelieving of her tale. "Why, I think I'll bring him something special tomorrow, to say 'thank you'." When SnowWhite returned to her meadow garden the following day, she found not one, but two dwarf hainu waiting for her. She gifted the first one a hat she had sewn throughout the night, then resumed her gardening. While the first hainu continued to keep watch, the second began digging in the dirt to help her plant more seedlings. She returned home by sundown and sewed another hat, this time for her newest friend. |

While she intended to arrive in the meadow alone once more, Oliver asked to accompany her. He was the son of the captain of the knights and was probably asked to follow SnowWhite and keep her safe, but he wasn't any older than she was and wasn't particularly skilled at battle. It was all the same to her, however, as she preferred it if her friends didn't fight each other. In the meadow there were four dwarf hainu waiting for her. As they were just as wary of Oliver as he was of them, SnowWhite handled the proper introductions before giving her hat to the second one. As the first began watch and the second dug up the earth, the third used his wings to carry the bucket to and from the river to help water the garden. Still working on this... |

As a kind and innocent soul, SnowWhite's open heart has endeared her to many; dragon, beastclan, and animal alike. Even Hans, known for being a prideful aristocrat and enemy of her father-in-law, cannot deny her childlike charm. Her approach to life is that of hope and enthusiasm, allowing her to see the value in otherwise mundane tasks and pursue her wishes at a steady pace. SnowWhite's innocence, however, can lead to trouble when one assumes others to live as genuine and gracious as yourself. She tends to give others the benefit of the doubt even when she knows better, and she's known for being rather gullible. As a mother she sees value in her family maintaining a proper schedule, doing everything in a timely manner, and expects her children to always wash up before meals and put away their toys after play. She believes that you should always say "thank you" to any kind deed, no matter how small it may seem, and that kindness should always be payed forward. Prompt: everyday magic |
