BIOGRAPHY

Main Theme: Bluebird Story

______ He never took the title of "Leader" himself, not while his counterpart Elomuria reigned, but he was her second in command and her most trusted adviser. Sir Remeth, now bearing the title given to Elders, only accepts it at Dame Elomuria's request. He has avoided taking power for himself his whole life, preferring to live in service to others rather than be served. He helped her found Clan Amarayne years ago, and supported her throughout her entire reign. Despite this, he feels unworthy to stand by her side at times, mostly because of the past that only recently came back to haunt him.

______ He was born a prince, a tundra of a wandering tribe, born of the chief and his queen. Rather, he was born of the queen, who in hatred of her mate and to spite him bore offspring of another male in a bid to set a child that was hers alone on the throne. Remeth was not the favored son, beaten down by his cruel brother at their mother's encouragement. His father tried to keep him afloat, tried to give him the knowledge he'd need to outwit his brother and mother, including training him in his Gift of extreme speed which became apparent as he grew up, but it only proved to be his undoing in the end. When his brother attacked, Remeth finally broke, flying into a blind rage and killing nine dragons in quick succession before he even knew what he was doing. Fearing he would do this again, the tribe's head witch sealed his emotions of pride, greed, and anger, then the tribe banished him to wander the wilds, knowing that the tundra would one day forget everything that had happened.

______ It was ten years before his days of solitude ended. Nameless, homeless, and friendless, he walked the Windswept Plateau largely avoided by others due to his unkempt state and the fact that he was a lone tundra, a breed known for living in tight-knit family groups. This changed when he found a shivering, starving fae in the tall grass. Elomuria was stubborn, loud, and headstrong, and he fell in love with her after knowing her only a few days. It was she who gave him the name he now keeps, she who ended his lonely days, and she who founded a clan with him ensuring that he'd never be a lonely wanderer again. Just to ensure he'd never forget this and to enhance his Gift, he accepted the skydancer transformation fairly early in the clan's history.

______ Even this bliss could not last forever. More than a century after Amarayne was founded he was found by a member of his old tribe who recognized him because of his Gift and his colors. She unintentionally brought the memories back, which broke the weakened seal and unleashed emotions he no longer knew how to deal with. Desperate, he tried to run away but Elomuria caught up with him, begging him to stay with her and promising that she would help teach him how to channel these emotions as he helped her over many years. These days Remeth and Elomuria are usually off traveling, gathering knowledge and retraining his mind. He is happy, though cautiously so, as he was fairly happy before snapping at his brother, too.

PERSONALITY

______ Remeth is a peacekeeper by nature. He hates squabbling, bickering, and arguing of any sort, and will try to defuse the situation as gently as possible when things flare up. He is not able to do this for himself as effectively, his anger quickly turning into rage that he struggles to keep under the surface when all he wants to do is let it burst out and take over. He knows he cannot risk it, and with Elomuria or his family always nearby it would be dangerous to do so. When his temper gets very bad, he will seek out his mate and bury his head in her chest, trembling and silent, which tells her that he needs her help.

______ He is excellent with children and even before he met Elomuria he always wanted to be a father. He is a very affectionate parent, even now as he handles everything so cautiously, and will easily spoil them if not kept in check. He tends to be lenient with the discipline as well, leaving it up to Elomuria to mete out fairly, which annoys her but he simply can't be trusted to dole out appropriate punishments when they pull out the puppy-dog eyes.

______ Flying brings him joy, especially when he's using his Gift. Only those with similar Gifts of speed can keep up with him, and as it's grown stronger with age he's only getting faster. Protection from the forces seems to extend to anything he touches as long as he's in contact, meaning his clothing and passengers will be protected, something everyone is grateful for because otherwise his attempted saves could end up very messy if he went too fast. He is, however, a little sad that there are so few races he is allowed to participate in, as his freshly-renewed competitiveness has just started to come back to him and he'd love to prove himself more often.
