Tiernez Escueto
The Stark Spade
A noble ridgeback married to Viernes. Very shrewd and calculated lady. She loves power, whether it be social, magical or physical. When she heard what Lady Ashmane was doing, she immediately became interested in her company for the power they are seeking.
Tiernez Escueto was originally Tiernez Drakswagner before she married Viernes.
In truth, although she is a noble, her house was poor and in debt. Her parents were greedy and constantly borrowed money from other houses, and even Tiernez herself was viewed as a way to get money quick by marrying her to the richest family. However, she was constantly rejected due to the poor reputation of their house, citing her as an unsuitable bride. Out of frustration, and blaming her for their situation, her family eventually abandoned her, thinking her useless.
Thrown away into the dregs of society, Tiernez swore revenge on the family that abandoned her. But before she could exact revenge, they become destitute themselves due to their own ineptitude. Having even her chance at revenge taken from her, she decided the next best thing was to do what they couldn't - rise back up the ranks of society until she herself was at the top. With nothing but her wits, cunning, and strength, Tiernez clawed her way up the social hierarchy until she finally owned a mansion and had many dragons serving her.
However, her stilted childhood led her to becoming a cold, selfish and cruel dragon.
When she finally found her place in society, her family came back to her, poor and nameless. Shamlessly, they praised her, congratulated her on achieving so much, and asked her to let them live with her.
She found their presence sickening.
With a wave of her hand, she ordered her servants to capture them.
They were never seen again.
