A large and lumbering beast who secludes herself to a particular site of interest: a strange cave system not far off from the Labyrinth. Its chambers bear odd paintings upon their walls, depictions of two-legged beings battling ancient beastclans, going on great hunts, kneeling in reverence to something that looks crudely familiar to the World Pillar.

Nature magic pools from a stray leyline beneath the cave floor, and in a particularly secluded chamber, a gashed opening far above trickles beams of sunlight - nigh perfect conditions for its grace to emerge. In this impossibly verdant room below the heat-baked Plains, tucked behind countless walls bearing remnants of antiquity, the Dweller in the Cave meditates on endless questions while rooted between Earth and Nature, seated upon the balancing pinhead that is this long-sacred site.

In the spaces left between ages-old illustrations, she paints the stories of dragons to whom she grants refuge, their memories and lessons immortalized upon the stone for ages yet to come. Perhaps in doing so they may find a kind of power of their own, ever perpetuated by their legacy upon the walls. This, her belonging. This, her purpose. Every sunrise she will spend amongst the boughs of the deep room, every sunset illuminating the canvas left for her to unravel.

She will spend eternity here, a warden to all that is Below.

hi! call me animal!

i'm a grad student studying geology, hoping for
an environmentally-focused career. i'm in love
with the physical earth and my relationship
with it shapes much of my personal philosophy
and outlook on life; i want to perpetuate hope
and safety in a world where they often come
in short supply, and urge others to see beauty
in what so many deem ugly. i love to make art
when it calls me, and spend a lot of free time
immersing myself in media i can really reflect
on or finding ways to enjoy nature whenever
i can. i value critical thought and free wonder
in equal measure, and love to weave stories
if only to exercise the myriad ideas i have. i
hope they're able to touch someone, and that
through them i can share a bit of my soul with
the world that's been made here, by us.

all that aside, i'm a total bumbling nerd and am
more than happy to ramble about shared likes.
i'm very passionate about areas such as geology,
paleontology, animal science, floral and fungal
biology, medieval and paleolithic studies, and
activism across a wide variety of fronts. i'm also
constantly exploring philosophy and spirituality,
and would love to discuss personal practices!
though i would include media fandoms, i have
so many i hold dear that it would be immense
to list them all - just ask!

don't mind it!

- i'm old enough to no longer be comfortable with
