There is no god honoring way of saying this, but Caramela
practiced mitosis and cloned herself in order to make a daughter.

Sike I got you again, it was a half-truth again. Being a spirit,
the only way for Caramela to reproduce would be to sacrifice a
portion of her soul forever. She laid an egg and it sat dormant
for centuries, heated only by the faint rays of autumn sun.
One day it hatched, and forth came out a perfectly normal dragon hatchling.
There is one thing that differentiates Helia from her celestial mother—
flesh and blood.
Helia is not a wandering spirit, she is a dragon whose entire existence
depends on the Autumns dimension, and therefore cannot leave it.
If anything happened that would force Caramela to shut down the
Autumns, Helia would vanish along with it.
It would be too polarizing to say that she sees her home as a prison...
But the more foreign dragons come to visit, and tell tales of Sornieth,
the more she yearns she could fly out of the valley and see it with her
own eyes. A pitiful dream...
