Truffles

Name comes from the Black Truffle!
A truffle is the fruiting body of a subterranean ascomycete fungus, predominantly one of the many species of the genus Tuber.
As the volatile aromas dissipate quicker when heated, truffles are generally served raw and shaved over warm, simple foods where their flavor will be highlighted, such as buttered pasta or eggs. Thin truffle slices may be inserted into meats, under the skins of roasted fowl, in foie gras preparations, in pâtés, or in stuffings. Some specialty cheeses contain truffles, as well. Truffles are also used for producing truffle salt and truffle honey.



Optional Lore
Prefers to be alone and is scarcely seen by others.
Surprisingly, dislikes truffles. Can't collect them on her own because her scales smell of truffles and any pigs or trained dogs can't find them because of that, but after the effort of proving herself and finding some - they didn't even taste good. Bad enough that they even masked the taste of victory.
Will steal other dragons food with no remorse, enjoys their frustration.

Blessing or a Curse - Gen.3 Surge x WindGuide -> Vignette -> Magma -> Me! The Shade is a hivemind that will try to absorb more living creatures into it to grow stronger. If a creature ingests part of the shade or is temporarily stuck within the shade they become half-corrupted. In time their corruption - if not treated - will grow to fully control their mind like a parasite. Children of Surge and Windguide, however, are like someone who is immune to zombie bites. They can still be killed by other means, such as poison or drowning, but they cannot be harmed by shade.

Forest Wight - Gen.3 Duvain x Idsi -> Balan -> Magma -> Me! An unfortunate lineage that is both touched by Shade and bound to protect others from it. These dragons are ill-suited for crowded clans and tend to wander the desolate landscapes — forests, mires, vast stretches of featureless deserts, and frigid mountains. Perhaps it is the Shade in their blood that helps them sense darkness in the world and endeavor to change it, even if the darkness itself cannot be dispelled or destroyed.

Fuligan

Name comes from the False Brown Death Cap!
Amanita Fuligineoides - a member of the Family Amanitaceae.
The odor of this mushroom is indistinct. This species should be considered deadly POISONOUS. n Amanita fuligineoides grows in broad-leaved forests dominated by Fagaceae [trees of the Beech-Oak family]. Presently, it is known only from south-central China.

Tough as nails, and easily blends into a crowd.
Despite what the name suggests, gets squemish around any mention of death.
Is willing to take the blame for things he didn't do if it means saving those he cares about from consequences punishment.
