Galena came from the same Clan as Jet. However, she doesn't share in Jet's belief that she was in the wrong Flight. Despite dressing in armor, she's actually a magic user under Spira.

She idolizes Spira and as such, wears flowers with her armor. While she has some reservations about Yarekma and Pulse, she does get along with pretty much all of her Clan mates. She's also pretty forgiving, provided that the offender is genuine.

Galena loves flowers and has flowers of all kinds in her section. Most clan mates, when they first met her, thought she was from a Nature Clan. She takes pride in making sure her flowers are healthy and enjoys the fragrances that result. She'll sometimes string the flowers together, in a way similar to her apparel. However, those do eventually wilt as she lacks the ability to make them immortal.

Galena has found that she can press her favorite flowers with a certain paper and make them into a book, keeping them around for much longer than if she didn't. She's filled several books with them!

She did have an issue at first with Koirin due to some of her 'pets' getting into her flowers. Koirin was remorseful about it and found some seeds to a rare flower so Galena could grow them. And she also made sure her pets stayed away from Galena's area. In return, Galena gave Koirin one of her books that had her pressed flowers in them, much to Koirin's delight.

After Rairye become devoted to the Lightweaver, he noted that Galena had been blessed before her arrival to the Clan with protection.
