Kidomaru was part of the Sound Four. He was a prisoner of Orochimaru but survived a fight to the death against other prisoners, proving himselve to be among the strongest prisoners of Orochimaru.
Later Kimimaro became the leader of the Sound Four, renaming them into Sound Five. They assisted Orochimaru with assassinations and similar missions as well as working as his bodyguards.

Kidomaru saw battles as a game and enjoyed fighting, seeking out combat against strong opponents for his personal entertainment. Weaker opponents were too boring for him. He liked playing with his enemies before killing them, becoming more and more brutal with his attacks throughout a fight.
He was the most intelligent of the Sound Four, quick with finding strategies and analysing opponents, but also reckless when fighting. He preferred to fight from a distance, using bow and arrows, made of sticky golden liquid he produced, or spiders he summoned. Kidomaru had six arms making him able of using multiple tools at once. Under his forehead protector laid a hidden third eye.
He was killed in a fight against Neji.
