Hazakura was Aphrodite's first love interest and mate. They had a clutch of one egg, Sutra.
After introducing Sutra to his first novel; Catching Glowbugs, he watched as she became more and more obsessed with books. He could not do anything to stop her, for his daughter was aggressive and violent without anything to read.
Being a cowardly dragon, he fled in desperation after Sutra burnt down his first library. Hazakura was engulfed in a storm of self-hatred as feelings of guilt and betraying Aphrodite scorched his heart.
He was lonely and depressed.
The only thing that brang joy to him was writing. He picked up a dusty quill, spread out a roll of faded parchment and began to write.
Years afterwards, he was kidnapped by Tenebris who wanted to torment Aphrodite. He was taken to the Sunlit Sanctuary to be reunited with Aphrodite.
Their meeting had not gone according to plan, leaving Hazakura more torn than ever, and he continued his tale in the half-lit dungeons Tenebris kept him.
When the prisoner was finally released, Hazakura mustered the courage and determination to publish his story. With the assistance of Gildaura, the scribe, copies of Wilted heart were sold to neighboring clans.
Gildaura convinced him to run a library in the Sanctuary, and Hazakura never regretted following the scribe's advice.
Currently, Hazakura owns a public library alongside with Gildaura, who makes copies of his books. The two dragons formed a close bond.
After Aphrodite read Hazakura's book Wilted Heart, she had finally forgiven the husband that betrayed her.
