Mute was born without the ability to talk, so instantly he was deemed abnormal. It caused the other young to avoid him, not accept him as one of their own. The plague hailing Guardian didn't let that get him down in the least bit though, he was perfectly happy on his own, venturing into new unknown places during the day. It was what he had grown fond of. He met his best friend at that early age in his adventures, a Clouded Mith that hadn't really taken instantly to the mute dragon that had followed it whenever given the chance!

Jarbbi was another silent creature, and perhaps that was what drew Mute to him, and eventually the companionable silence between the two drew Jarbbi into becoming friendly with Mute as well. They could be seen together almost every hour of every day, sitting in silence but able to understand each other to a degree that didn't need to be in spoken language. As years passed on, Mute continued to follow Jarbbi away from The Scarred Wastelands in which he was born.

Together Mute and Jarbbi landed themselves in the Southern Icefield, where they adjusted to the cold temperatures and learned to survive the harshest of snow storms. They lived alone for a long time in the Snowsquall Tundra, until a roaming group of dragons stumbled into their little abode; where they stayed for a while and soon whisked Mute and Jarbbi off on another adventure into the Cloudscrape Crags. The mutes grew adjusted to the noisy company over the months of helping them form a guild of misfit dragons, leading to them staying in Armifera Fatum.

Now the two companions wouldn't dream of leaving their comfy home behind, or their found friends. Many dragons have come and gone, two particular ones leaving behind a young lady that Mute had become taken with. And to his surprise had become taken to him shortly after too, actually intrigued by his silence! She has become his life partner and his partner in the stables of which they raise the familiars among the guild.
