Biography

xxxxx
81441455p.png Name: Fellow D3
Affiliation: Doc's Fellows
Gender: Nonbinary
Rank: Fellow

Fellows are not your ordinary dead dragon roaming Purgatory. Equipped with strange technology, they are souls that were resurrected by Doc for the purpose of being his men on location in Purgatory. Specifically, they are- or were dragons who, for all intends and purposes, were already dissolved by the magical miasma that exists only in Purgatory. Yet, even those who have already been absorbed by Purgatory leave behind traces of their existence that not even the dimension of the dead can erase. Using his expertise with the loopholes of Purgatory, Doc is capable of pulling random souls out of that place of non-existence. These vessels have no memories of their time among the living, and generally have no problem working for him, which is the reason why Doc resurrects them anyway.

These are Doc's Fellows; the ones doing the groundwork in Purgatory that Doc cannot do by himself, being alive as he is. Being not quite alive and not quite dead, the Fellows generally have no real interest in things like personal goals or other purposes. They have lived their lives before, and most of them have lost the desire for anything that resembles it due being dissolved by Purgatory. Make no mistake, however; they are, for the most part, people, and they do have their individual feelings and personalities. It's just that they're fine with being Doc's errant boys and personal assistants whenever he needs them. Loyal to a fault, one could even say.

That's not to say Fellows can't "die", however. They are still dragons with weaknesses, and just like any other, they may get hurt. If a Fellow gets too hurt, the technology Doc uses to bind them to "life" fails, and automatically re-releases them to the oblivion of Purgatory, at which point they are lost forever.

Currently, Fellow D3 is the oldest of the remaining four Fellows, and it certainly isn't because he's careful. It's just that D3 is extraordinarily talented with magic, almost to a ridiculous degree. He only needs to see a spell performed once to be able to cast it himself, and has magic reserves that seem to last forever. There's no denying that Fellow D3 has been a valuable asset to the Fellows and Doc, and together with D4, he is part of the main "Hank retrieval team".

Despite being the oldest, D3 is a bit on the naive side. He's not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed, and often needs some time to figure out how to work the tech Doc sends him and the rest of the Fellows. That's not to say he's stupid or anything- not at all- but he's just not very tech-savvy. He can stick an anchoring device into someone Doc wants to revive, and activate it, but that's as far as his knowledge of technology goes. That's okay, though; that's what D9 is for, after all! D3 has his job among the Fellows, and he does it well, not to mention that he enjoys it too.

For what it's worth, he thinks his "life" is pretty satisfying. He gets to fight the good fight every so often, and he gets to hang out with cool people at the Survivor's Camp. Not bad.
