Biography
Lead General of the guard of the (settlement)
Before she left, Jade was one of Narra's good friends in her hometown. And, when she returned, he was pretty overjoyed. He and his wife joined Narra and her crew in rebuilding their old town into new. They had a single egg around 10 months after joining the settlement.
During some development of the settlement, there was a freak accident that ended with his wife dead. (cave-in during development/clearing due to the sinkholes). He was devastated and would sit in his home doting over their single egg until it hatched. Sunset is a daddy's girl, and he loves her to pieces. He takes her home from the nursery every night instead of leaving her there.
Jade has always been in the guard, it's sort of a family thing. His experience has led him to be a confident leader up until his wife passed. Since she passed he's a bit more nervous and has become a sort of helicopter parent to the whole settlement (and, literally, to Sunset). He's still good at what he does, but can now be held back by his nervousness. He's trying.
He "hired" Gemini (more like Gemini hired herself) who tends to do her own thing. But hey, if she's protecting the settlement Jade could care less what she does.
He also hired Storm, who likes to guard the entrance to the nursery most. Which actually gave Jade the piece of mind to leave his daughter there during the day. He talked to Storm most after his wife died, he had lots of good advice.
Every day gets better
Sunrise is his late wife, she passed due to a cave-in.
